    At the beginning of the New Year, Huafeng Shipbuilding's production is full and orderly. From the aerial camera lens, it can be seen that at the various docks and docks of the Baiquan Base, there are many ships of various types under repair.

    Since joining the factory on December 2nd last year, the Liberian-based OSLO businessman "OSLO TRADER" (189*32M) has successively completed regular dry-docking repairs, sandblasting of the cargo hold, sandblasting of the hatch cover underground, waterjet repairs on the main deck, repairs of the crane and grab, installation of the decarbonization device, and installation of the hydrogen energy system. The vessel entered the dock on the 23rd and was launched on the 28th. From January 5th, 2026 to the anchorage for commissioning, and officially leaving the factory on the 6th.

    As the company's first hydrogen energy system installation breakthrough project, the general management team meticulously planned and coordinated capable forces. The technical department and on-site service providers actively discussed and modified the plan, making up for the problem of the platform not being able to be installed due to design flaws in the early stage, and promoting the smooth progress of the project. On December 8th, the first hydrogen plant management box was hoisted. Subsequently, the complex construction processes such as the new layout and welding of stainless steel double-wall pipes, the installation of IMS hydrogen distributors, the installation of flue gas monitoring, the power-on debugging of the system, and the pressure test of the nitrogen pipeline were completed quickly and efficiently. The hydrogen fuel system of the main unit was fully connected, ensuring the operational reliability of the system.

    In practical applications, by mixing hydrogen into the main engine fuel to increase the fuel detonation pressure, the fuel combustion efficiency can be significantly improved, and fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 30%. Its zero carbon emissions are more in line with the IMO's 2030/2050 emission reduction targets.

    The company successfully completed the core application and installation of the double-wall pipe for the ship liquid hydrogen fuel system. Liquid hydrogen, as one of the core options for zero-carbon fuel in ships, has the characteristics of ultra-low temperature (-253℃), easy leakage and easy explosion. This determines that double-wall pipes are the core compatible pipelines for the liquid hydrogen fuel delivery system in ships, covering the outlet of liquid hydrogen storage tanks, pressurization pipelines, fuel supply pipelines, return pipelines, as well as the fuel access end of Marine engines/fuel cells. It is the core carrier running through "storage - transportation - utilization", and also a key component ensuring the safe operation of the system.

    The installation and use of the hydrogen fuel system for ships follow the IMO IGF rules and the special norms of classification societies, taking into account safety, endurance and compliance. The market is in an accelerated period from demonstration to commercialization. The benefits are reflected in zero-carbon compliance, long-term cost advantages and policy dividends.

    According to relevant data, the global market for hydrogen fuel systems for ships is expected to reach approximately 120 million US dollars in 2024. In 2025, a large number of demonstration projects will be implemented intensively. It is expected that the scale will reach 4 to 5 billion US dollars by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of over 35%.
