On May 8, 2026, the Exchange Conference on Safety Management and Advanced Technical Experience of Zhoushan’s ship repair and building enterprises was hosted by Zhoushan Huafeng Shipbuilding & Repair Co., Ltd. More than 150 guests from the city’s shipbuilding & repair industry and related sectors attended the event.

A host of technology enterprises exhibited their flagship products on site, engaging in interactive exchanges. Exhibitors included:Xingzhou Intelligent Navigation (autonomous spraying vehicles);InteXun (digital R&D solutions);Zhongbao Shengda (Zhoushan) Technology (derusting robots);Zhong'an Weixin (safety monitoring system for confined space operations);Shihe Robotics (diversified industrial robots);North Tianyu Electromechanical (comprehensive safety protection systems);Beijing Dongdian Technology (perfluorinated fire safety products under Quanfu Bao brand);Zhejiang Xiyun Jingye (fire suppression product series);Wuhu Wozhi New Materials (industrial ventilation and protective materials); Wanbang Heavy Industry (ultra-high pressure water derusting equipment, timing shut-off devices for ship air supply pipelines), and more.

Senior officials attended the conference for on-site observation and exchanges, including Miao Chengwu, Director of the Municipal Work Safety Committee Office and Director of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau; Li Wenming, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau; Sun Yu, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; Zhu Bo, Deputy Director of the Municipal Administration for Market Regulation; and Chen Weijun, Deputy Director of the Municipal Fire and Rescue Brigade.

The subsequent experience sharing session was presided over by Li Wenming, with Miao Chengwu, Sun Yu, Zhu Bo and other leaders in attendance. Representatives from four enterprises – Zhoushan Huafeng, Dinghai Changhong, Zhoushan COSCO and Zhejiang Youlian – delivered keynote experience presentations respectively.
Sun Yu, Zhu Bo and Chen Weijun delivered work arrangements and mobilization speeches covering the sectors of industry & information technology, market supervision, and fire rescue respectively.
Director Miao Chengwu spoke highly of the conference, deeming it a well-organized, widely-attended platform for experience and technical exchange that will boost the advancement and development of the local shipbuilding industry.

       He reviewed the achievements of industrial safety work in recent years and pointed out three positive trends: first, the overall work safety situation keeps improving; second, enterprises’ primary safety responsibilities are being fully implemented; third, the industry’s safety technology standards have seen steady upgrades.He stressed that enterprises must fully shoulder their primary work safety responsibilities, leaving no room for ambiguity in three critical areas: corporate person-in-charge accountability, guaranteed safety investment, and regular safety education & training. For high-risk operations including confined space work, working at height and hoisting operations, standardized management of outsourced contractors and construction teams shall be enforced, alongside stricter law enforcement and accountability mechanisms. Greater efforts shall be devoted to technological empowerment and innovation to continuously advance the standardization of work safety production.
