On September 24, the Mid-Autumn Festival themed activity "Mountains and Seas Share the Moon, Civilizations Unite in Heart — 100,000 Seafarers' Mutual Learning of Civilizations" was held at Zhoushan Huafeng Shipbuilding & Repair Co., Ltd. This activity was hosted by the Zhoushan Municipal Civilization Office and the Propaganda Department of the Dinghai District Party Committee, and undertaken by the Dinghai District Civilization Office and our company. International seafarers, international students from Zhejiang Ocean University, and shipyard employees gathered together, using Mid-Autumn Festival culture as a bond to share the friendship between mountains and seas. Relevant leaders from the Municipal Civilization Office, the International College of Zhejiang Ocean University, the District Civilization Office, and the company attended the activity.
Previously, the company distributed mooncakes to all employees, delivering blessings to everyone and allowing them to feel the festive warmth in advance. International seafarers, international students, and shipyard employees also jointly participated in handmade mooncake making — kneading dough, wrapping fillings, and pressing molds — experiencing Chinese traditional folk customs through collaborative interaction, and narrowing the distance between each other amid laughter and cheerful conversation.
At 6:30 p.m. that evening, the cultural performance officially kicked off. Before the performance, a special heartwarming online connection session titled "Sending Acacia Across the Sea, Talking About Reunion in the Cloud" was arranged. A Russian international seafarer who had come to Zhoushan for the first time and had only been ashore for 3 days came on stage to connect with his family. After speaking, he left the port to prepare for departure. The organizers sent him Mid-Autumn Festival blessings, wishing him a safe voyage.
The Voice of Beauty Choir's dance "Lamp Shadows of a Thousand Islands" showcased the charm of the thousand-island sea; Zhoushan young singer Yue Xinyi sang "Beautiful Zhejiang" and "The Moon Represents My Heart"; Russian international student Olina from Zhejiang Ocean University sang "Katyusha," and Irina and others performed the dance "Golden Sunshine"; the saxophone performance "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" interpreted traditional Chinese music with Western instruments; the host sang "May We All Be Blessed with Longevity," and Xu Ji brought a male solo "Gazing at the Moon," sending beautiful wishes of "safe return, academic success, and fulfilled longings" to everyone.

Participants from different countries and cultural backgrounds, despite language differences, share a common longing for reunion and happiness. This activity, using the Mid-Autumn Festival as a medium, promoted mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and conveyed the warmth of Zhoushan city and the humanistic care of Huafeng Shipbuilding.
