Release time:2026-06-19 Click:139In the global maritime repair and construction sector, LPG/LNG vessel repair has always been the core touchstone for testing a shipyard's solid strength. With its strong hardware and software capabilities, Huafeng Shipyard has successfully repaired multiple fully refrigerated LPG carriers, MARK III and MOSS-type LNG carriers, and has accumulated valuable experience in the repair of ice-class ice-breaking LNG carriers.

The "Global Flying Fish" repaired this time has an overall length of 225 meters and a molded breadth of 36 meters, and is a fully refrigerated very large LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) carrier. The vessel entered the yard for a 15-day repair period, and all works were smoothly accepted by the classification society and shipowner before official delivery.

The repair works covered core aspects including main engine overhaul, main lubricating oil pump and motor overhaul, main engine cylinder unit overhaul, cargo storage tank repair, and air compressor maintenance. Docking works were carried out simultaneously, including six-coat paint spraying on the shell plating and replacement of ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection), MGPS (Marine Growth Prevention System), and SED systems.
